1. Is the ceremony indoors or outdoors?
The ceremony will take place outdoors at the Dallas Oasis.. Please check the event details for directions and any special instructions based on the weather.
2. What time should I arrive for the ceremony?
We kindly ask that guests arrive at least 30 minutes before the ceremony begins to ensure that everyone is settled in and the program runs smoothly. The ceremony will begin promptly at 9:30am and the baraat will start at 8am.
3. Will there be food during the wedding?
Absolutely! A variety of traditional Indian dishes will be served at both the ceremony and reception. Please let us know if you have any dietary restrictions, and we'll do our best to accommodate them.
4. Can I bring a guest or children?
Please refer to your invitation for details about whether your invitation includes a plus-one or children. Kindly RSVP by September 15th so we can make the appropriate arrangements.
5. Is there a gift registry?
Your presence at our wedding is the greatest gift we could ask for! However, if you do wish to celebrate with us in a special way, we kindly ask that you consider bringing no boxed gifts. We both can’t wait to celebrate this day with you!
6. Will the wedding be live-streamed?
For those who are unable to attend in person, we are planning to live-stream the ceremony. Please check back for the link and details closer to the wedding day.
7. Will there be a dress code for the events?
We’re excited to celebrate our special day with you, and we’d love for everyone to feel part of our vision by following the suggested dress codes. Of course, we understand if you can’t find the exact pieces, but we encourage you to stick to the color palette or find something similar to the best of your ability. We can’t wait to see how you shine at each event!
8. What is the best way to get to the venue?
If you're traveling from out of town, we recommend renting a car or Uber/Lyft and flying to the Dallas Ft. Worth Airport (DFW) or Love Field Airport (DAL). If staying at the hotels specified, there will be shuttle services available to and from Dallas Oasis. There is ample parking at the venue. For the events at the Patel residence, please use street parking in the neighborhood.
9.Is there a hotel block for wedding guests?
Yes! We have reserved a block of rooms at Fairfield Inn and Suites in DeSoto for our out-of-town guests. Please email us at sunnyandnishani@gmail.com to obtain a link for the room block.
